In 1983, Mr. Teisuke Terao began the honey bees activity as source of complementary income to the one that received as teacher of Japanese language. This happened in Pinhal Colony, rural zone of the city of São Miguel Arcanjo - SP Brazil, known as capital of the Italy grapes. In 1987, he entered in contact with a Japanese company and verified interest for the Brazilian propolis. He began the activity of propolis export to the Japanese market. For the need of larger amounts, Mr. Terao traveled the areas south, southeast and center-west, acquiring quality propolis. With passing of the years, the company specialized in the commercialization of the green própolis, still selecting it through a qualification more rigorous, together with research entities and with the suppliers that insisted in the improvement of the production techniques, crop and conservation, as well as in the qualitative selection of the production. Today the company has customers in China, USA, Canada and Chile, besides Japan.
